​Bori Guedj is a Senegalese rapper and composer from the Seereer-Niominka ethnic group. Originally from Fatick, he has been making music since 2016, but actually started rapping in 2018. His collaborator and brother Docterbeatz (beatmaker/producer) have been involved in rap/hip-hop music for many years. Boy Lofine, released under Seereer Heritage's label on 12 December 2021 is their first major album which endeavours to advance Seereer-Niominka culture–dealing with spiritual and moral concepts. This album consists of 10 tracks with a total playing time of 32 minutes. It is a fusion of Seereer folk music and hip-hop/rap, and also includes elements of ragga.

Bori Guedj's first album takes its name from his hip-hop group Boy Lofine, created in 2018 for which Bori Guedj is the lead vocalist. His biggest inspiration is the Senegalese hip-hop artist Gaston Bandimic. 

 

Bori Guedj's latest major work as of December 2022 is on Seereer Heritage's single Ceereer ne ino mbogun released on 15 December 2022 which is the precursor to the upcoming album Ino mbogu Seereer ne (to be released in 2023). On this single, Bori Guedj appears as one of the featured artists following Seereer Heritage's artist auditions held in Kaolack on 27 August 2022. This is Bori Guedj's second project with Seereer Heritage since being signed in 2021.
