​Agnès Mayé Ndeb (or Agnès Mayé Deb) is a njom singer, a genre also known as laamb (Seereer wrestling singer). She has been singing professionally as a solo artist since 2006. She is the daughter and backing singer of the iconic njom Diva Mayé Deb Ngom who is renowned in ultra conservative njom music circles. Agnès would come out of her mother's shadow and went on to make a name for herself in this Seereer music genre. Her decision to enter the music industry as a solo artist happened by chance. Following numerous requests in 2006 to throw benefits for her mother,  Agnès decided to lend a helping hand, and eventually decided to start singing as a solo artist.

Agnès, like our fellow njom artists Selbé Linguère and Marie Gueye (younger sister of the late Diva Fatou Gueye), are three of the most celebrated njom divas of their generation. It is extremely rare where one or more of these three ladies are not requested to perform in notable njom tournaments.

Agnès Mayé Ndeb's latest work as of December 2022 is on Seereer Heritage's single Ceereer ne ino mbogun released on 15 December 2022 which is the precursor to the upcoming album Ino mbogu Seereer ne (to be released in 2023). On this single, Agnès appears as one of the featured artists following Seereer Heritage's artist auditions held in Kaolack on 27 August 2022.
